PARISH COUNCIL

SAMARITANS OF ST. STAN'S
Parishioners of St. Stanislaus volunteer their services when needed. Their work involves transporting people to Mass and medical appointments, shopping, friendly phone calls and visits. Nancy Dunn, 635-1700 ext 12.
HEALTH CARE MINISTRY
Comprised of registered nurses and other consulting health professionals. They provide prayer, education and support individually and by group. Professionals in the health care field are invited to contact Nancy Dunn, 635-1700 ext 12, for more information.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Our program runs from pre-K to grade 9 We always need teachers and aides. Contact Mrs. Lawris Barrett, 635-8611 ext 18 for Pre-K to 6th; Andrea Tighe ext. 21 for 7th, 8th, and 9th (Confirmation). KNIGHTS OF
COLUMBUS
An international Catholic men's fraternal organization which serves the needs of the Church and the Community. St. Stanislaus Council #7875 is led by Grand Knight Matt McDonald. Their most recent endeavor is sponsoring a college scholarship for parishioners and Knights' families. Contact Matt McDonald 635-4114.
Music Ministry
CHILDREN'S CHOIR (grades K through 4)
sings at the Family Masses (11:00) once a month on Sundays. Contact Barbara Kurdziel, 635-8121
ADULT FOLK GROUP
practice Thursdays, 7:30 - 9:00 PM, sings at the 9:00 and 11:00 AM Mass. Contact Andrea Tighe, 635-1700, ext. 10.
Adult Choir, Cantors, Holiday Choir – Choir sings at the 5:30 Mass on Saturday. Contact Dr. Rose Rudnitski 255-3820 JUNIOR FOLK GROUP (Grades 5 and up)

LIGHTNING YOUTH GROUP & LIGHTNING BOLTS
provides social and recreational activities in a Christian atmosphere for children in grades K through 8. The group generally meets twice per month during the school year. Contact, Steven Rossi, 635-9312.
CYO TEEN CLUB
A social and spiritual program for teenagers in grades 8 through high school. The group has St. Stan's meetings as well as county meetings with other parishes. Contact, Andrea Tighe, 635-1700 ext 10.

FOOD PANTRY
The Pleasant Valley Methodist Church distributes food every Wednesday evening. Parishioners from St. Stanislaus help out on one Wednesday a month on a ROTATING basis. Contact Diana Brenner, 473-0273..
ST STANISLAUS STITCHERS
A group of individuals who meet on Saturday mornings once a month to learn new quilting techniques and share ideas. They prepare quilts/crocheted blankets to welcome our newly baptized babies into the parish community. Contact Lawris Barrett:635-1700 ext 18.
GARDEN CLUB
Help to plant bulbs and tend flowers/clean up in spring and fall. We need help, both one time and seasonal.

ALTAR SERVERS

LECTORS

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Assist in distributing the Eucharist at Mass on a rotating schedule. They also bring the Eucharist to parishioners confined to their homes because of illness or old age. Contact Deacon John Dunn, 635-1700 ext.51.
USHERS
Welcome weekend and Holy day worshipers and assist in taking up the offertory and special collections on Sundays and Holy Days. Contact Fr. Brian McWeeney, 635-1700 ext 11.

Some Parish Activities
MEMORIAL MASS
Mass of Remembrance held every June/December to aid in healing of those parishioners who have lost someone dear. To include someone from your family in this Mass, contact the rectory, 635-1700 ext 12.
FIRST SATURDAY HANDICAPPED MASS
This is an annual activity, the first Saturday of February, where a group of handicapped persons are brought to the Parish for a Mass at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon. We need help to prepare and serve on that occasion. Contact Nancy Dunn, 635-1700, ext 12.
SIPP (Senior Injury Prevention Program)
This Office For Aging program assists seniors in improving balance and coordination, muscle strength and bone density. They meet twice weekly, Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 -10:30 in the Parish Hall. Contact Nancy Dunn, 635-1700, ext. 12, for more information.
